Jacqueline Lay

Jackie ended her earthly journey on February 14, 2025 due to complications from COPD.

Survived by her siblings, Jim (Wink) Lay, Becky Wood, Missy (Gary) May and Bob (Barb) Lay. Nieces and nephew Abby, Alice, Lee, Chris, Georgia and Cassie. Predeceased by her parents Jack and Mary Jane and her devoted dog Dingo.

Born in Stillwater, a 1963 SHS graduate, UWRF graduate, she had a career as a speech therapist in the St. Paul Public Schools. Retired to southern New Mexico to enjoy the birds, the desert and the beautiful mountain view from her home. She was a world traveler, curious about other cultures and always seeking new birds to identify. She made good friends in her new home and remained close to her childhood friends, remembering all that they shared.

Memorial gathering on Sunday, May 4 at Bradshaw Celebration of Life, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd., Stillwater, MN from 1pm-5pm with story sharing at 3pm.
