Cragoe
James Harlow
Beloved Dad and Grandpa
Was born on June 4, 1942 in Luverne, MN. His birthday is shared by his sister and granddaughter. Jim grew up in Jasper, MN and had a special fondness for the area. In 1960, he graduated from Jasper High School, where he excelled in sports. He married Gail Mitchell on June 1, 1969 in Fort Dodge, Iowa. He worked in the telephone industry for most of his life. Jim was the devoted father of his five beloved children: James (Melissa), Jeana, Janel, Jared and Lindsay (Aaron); loving grandfather of his four cherished grandchildren: Destiny, Trevor, Tyler and Morgan; treasured brother of Robert Cragoe (Bernice) of Riverton, Wyoming and Marlene Fitzgerald of Northfield, MN plus special cousins, numerous other relatives and many lifelong friends. Jim was a loyal person of character and resolve who so deeply loved his family and friends. He was known for his sense of humor and greatly enjoyed making people laugh. He was fun, funny, witty and wonderful. Jim enjoyed family events, attending children and grandchildren's ballgames, his cats, the outdoors and fishing, music and dancing, singing, sports, socializing and just having fun. We will greatly miss his warm, wonderful sense of humor, his positive, upbeat attitude and his constant, caring manner. He had a smile and a good work for everyone, plus a joke. Jim was amazingly tough and tenacious in dealing with his health. Your family salutes you, and thanks you, for brightening our days with unconditional love. Memorial Service will be held on Monday, October 14th at 3PM at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd (NW corner of Hwy 36 and Co Rd 5), Stillwater.
