Age 82 passed away 2/2/2024 with his family by his side.

He is preceded in death by parents Benny and Martha; brothers LeRoy, Ron, and David.

He is survived by his loving wife Becky; sons Jim(Tina), Mike(Michelle), John(Jill); daughters Lisa(Dave), Cassandra(Dave), Debra(Scott); brother Bob(Marcia); sister Mary; sister-in-law Barb; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Jim worked over 30 years as a heavy equipment operator for Local 49. He belonged to the Minnesota Mycological Society and loved learning about, identifying, and eating mushrooms. His favorite pastime was fishing the St. Croix but he was also passionate about feeding, watching, and identifying all the birds that came to his feeder.

He had a built-in GPS that helped many who got lost and needed direction and every morning he had to play Cribbage with Becky to start their day.

A service to honor his memory will take place at Bradshaw, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd., on Thursday, February 15th at 2p.m. with a visitation an hour prior.
