Born in Twin Lakes MN to Anne and Thomas McKeown on October 29, 1930. Died March 7, 2015 in White Bear Lake, leaving behind the love of his life for over 56 years, Marlene (Niederoski); their children Michele (John), Colleen (Mike) and Jae (Robin); grandchildren Alex, Jacki, Katarina, Annika, Liam, Connell and Maggie; brother Todd (Mary); sister Roseanne (Dick); sister-in-law Patsy (Pat) and many nieces and nephews. Jim was a Math, Chemistry & Physics graduate of St John's University, and obtained his PhD in Physical Chemistry from Iowa State. He worked at 3M for most of his career, starting in the lab and retiring as the VP of Industrial Specialties after 32 years. Mass will be held this Friday, March 13th at 9 AM, at St. Jude of the Lake, Mahtomedi, MN; followed by visitation at 10:30 AM at Bradshaw Celebration of Life Center, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd, Stillwater, MN. Memorials preferred to the Late Bloomers Scholarship Fund at St John's University, P.O. Box 7222, Collegeville, MN 56321-7222.
