Miller, James W.
Beloved father of three passed away on December 30th at the age of 73. Survived by his wife, Dorothy of 45 years; elder daughter & son-in-law Mary & Edward Schulz, and twins Michelle & Michael and daughter-in-law Hong Miller; grandchildren Marissa Tobias, Kevin Miller and Keegan & Kelby Schulz; sister & brother-in-law Dorothy & Edward Marynow, and sister & brother-in-law Marjorie & Otto Sordahl; and numerous nieces and nephews. Born in South Minneapolis, he raised his family in California and Nevada for several years before returning to his roots in Minneapolis. James devoted his life to his family and shared his strong belief in God. His faith was an important part of his life and he enjoyed church services from the Crystal Cathedral. James was a gifted person and excelled in every field that he pursued. He enjoyed life long hobbies and passions for being a true craftsman in woodworking, a love of nature and being outdoors including fishing & hunting, and a love of spending time with his wife and children. He will be truly missed for his humor and compassion for life by family and friends alike. A Christian celebration of his life will be on Thursday at 10:30 A.M. at BRADSHAW (McDivitt Hauge), 3131 Minnehaha Avenue South, Minneapolis.
