Preceded in death by father, Eugene H. Nelson. Survived by loving wife, Sue; son, Jimmy; mother, Mary Ellen; brother, Paul (Judy); sister, Mary Crosby (Paul), Patty Lyons (Patrick) & Cathy (Toni); mother-in-law, Agnes; sisters-in-law, Paulette (Ed) & Cher; brothers-in-law, Larry & Erv; goddaughter, Ashley (Matt); special friend, Rosemary Stein; many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and countless friends. Jim was a Navy Veteran and a small business owner. He loved spending time with his family, hunting & fishing with his friends, time at his cabin up North, and listening to the Twins on the radio. He fought his cancer with faith, strength, courage, and humor. He was quick to help anyone who needed him and will be truly missed by all he touched in his life. The family wishes to thank MN Oncology/St. Paul Cancer Center, HealthEast Hospice, and his support group. Visitation Thursday, December 13, 2012 from 5-8 PM at Bradshaw Funeral Home, 678 South Snelling Avenue, St. Paul. Funeral service Friday, December 14, 2012 at 11 AM with visitation beginning at 10:15 AM at KING OF KINGS LUTHERAN CHURCH, 2330 North Dale Street, Roseville. Interment Oakland Cemetery.
