James D. Thoreson

Age 78, of New Richmond, WI, formerly of Voyager Village and Stillwater, passed away peacefully in his sleep on June 6, 2022.  He will be sadly missed by wife, Carol; sons, Matthew, David and Sean (Emily); grandchildren, Nicholas, Hannah, Colin, Keegan and Nora; siblings, Ann (Steve) Marlow and Thomas; many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Jim worked for 38 years at 3M.  He was an active member of numerous Lutheran churches and was on the board at Camp Croix.  After retirement Jim and Carol moved to Voyager Village and wintered in Lake Havasu, AZ.  He enjoyed golfing, hunting and entertaining family and friends.

A celebration of Jim’s life will be Friday, June 10, 2022, 11:00 A.M. at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard, Stillwater with a visitation one hour prior to the service.  Memorials are preferred to the Alzheimer’s Association.
