James Alfred Wiechman
James "Jim" Wiechman was born to Alfred and Lydia Wiechman on August 2,1954. He and his older brother, Richard Wiechman, grew up in South Minneapolis and enjoyed all the wonderful things it had to offer! They loved hiking, biking, swimming, canoeing, and fishing - anything outside together. When at home they played music together. Being a young person of the 1960’s and 70’s, his love for all the modern styles of music grew.
In April of 1977, he married Regina (Piotrowski) Wiechman. They moved to NE Minneapolis. Soon the births of daughters Angela (Wiechman) Boswell and Katherine Wiechman became center stage. He held different careers with Chicago Northwestern Railroad and The University of Minnesota. When working became too hard, he stayed active walking his dog many times a day, and music remained a hobby.
On June 14, 2019, Jim joined Alfred Wiechman and Richard Wiechman in heaven. He leaves behind his mother, Lydia; wife, Regina; daughters, Angela and Katherine; grandchildren; Levi, Kaja, and Michael. Never forgetting the rest of his wonderful family of Aunts and Uncles, Nieces and Nephews, Cousins and in-laws!
