James R. "Jim" Zimmerman

Age 83, passed peacefully on February 4th.

Preceded in death by parents, Louise and Ralph Zimmerman; son, Steven; and brother, Jack. 

Survived by wife, Elaine; daughter, JoAnne (John) Germscheid, daughter-in-law, Lori; step-children, Karen Kinley and Stephen Slavotinek; grandchildren, Andrew (Shannon), Nicholas (Rachel), Victoria, Brenna, Shannon (Patrick) and Rachel; great grandchildren, Mason, Ilsa and Royce, many family and friends. 

Jim retired from 3M and enjoyed 26 years of retirement.  He had many interests and hobbies including his love of flying, built a small aircraft, restored vintage vehicles, the “Back to the 50’s” car show, and woodworking. 

A celebration of Jim’s life will be Tuesday, February 13, 2024, 11:00 A.M. at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd, Stillwater with visitation one hour prior to the service. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a favorite charity.
