Jane Emma Ellingson
April 19, 1944 – March 9, 2021
Jane was one of a kind. Her positive outlook on life and appreciation for all it brought (both good and bad) was both admirable and enviable to everyone she knew. She always thought of and put others before herself, and had an inner strength that was both extraordinary and unflappable. She left the world a much better place by being a living example of love in her daily walk of life, and she loved her husbands, Jerry of almost 25 years and Tucker thereafter, family and friends fiercely. Her huge heart outpoured compassion, understanding, wisdom, love and friendship every single day.
She lived to the fullest and spent a good part of her retirement traveling with her husband, Tucker and many close friends. She had a lot of fun and was often on the go – always having somewhere to go (she loved walking!), something new to try, someone to visit, food to prepare (and wow was she an amazing cook), or a crossword puzzle to complete (pretty sure she did thousands of them over her lifetime).
Her strong faith saw her through trials in life, including her last one, and she had complete peace knowing she would be reunited with loved ones who passed before her and see Jesus welcoming her into his loving arms in Heaven. One of the final things she said a day before she passed, was “I am so blessed.”
She is survived by too many loved ones to count, including her loving husband, Bill Fredrickson, her three children (Jill, Joel & Jamie) and their families. She was preceded in death by her loving first husband, Jerry Ellingson and her parents, Arnold & Syvilla Raasch of Red Wing, Minnesota.
