Janet Keulen

Our beloved mother and grandmother, Janet Marie Van Keulen (Marcotte), 80, of St. Cloud, raised in Marshall MN passed on Feb. 14th peacefully with family at her side. Janet was born on March 21st 1937 in Milroy, MN to Alex Marcotte and Alma (Turf) Marcotte. Janet was preceded in death by her husband Gregory Hubert Van Keulen, her brother Dennis Raymond Marcotte, and her parents. She is loved and survived by her five children: Mary (Stephen) Riehm, John Van Keulen, Michael (Michelle) Van Keulen, Bill (Jolin) Van Keulen, Anita Van Keulen; ten grandchildren David (Adriana), Mark, Kevin, Joseph, Daniel, Alex, Hayden, Nathan, Sophia and Ava. Janet received her degree from St. Cloud State and was an elementary school teacher. She loved travel, music, and above all, her family. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 a.m. Thursday Feb. 22 at ST. MICHAEL'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 611 Third St. S. Stillwater, MN. Visitation 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the church. Luncheon will follow Mass. With respect to Janet's love of learning, we request that memorials be directed to either Benedictine College in Atchison, KS or University of Notre Dame in Notre Dame, IN. Interment will take place on a later date in St. Cloud where our mother will rest with our father.
