Challman, Janice "Jan" Paula Helseth
Age 80. Died November 23rd. Predeceased by parents, Paul and Johnieveve Helseth. Survived by husband of 55 years, Roger; daughter, Laurie (Joel) Rude; granddaughters, Cortney (Christopher) Wall and Tierney (Joshua) Camarena; grandson, Caleb Rude; sister, Nancy (Richard) Hedger; nieces and nephews and friends (including the members of her Jr/Sr High School Girls Club who kept in contact over 65 years). Jan grew up in south Minneapolis and graduated from Roosevelt High and the University of Minnesota. She was a teacher for 40 years, including time in Long Beach, CA, South St. Paul, MN and Bloomington, MN. Jan was a former member of Hope Presbyterian Church. Memorials may be made to Alpine Camp, P.O. Box 155, Blue Jay, CA 92317; or donor's choice. Memorial Service Saturday, December 21 at 10:00 AM at Faith Covenant Church, 12921 Nicollet Avenue, Burnsville, MN.
