Jayla Wojtowicz

Jayla Justice Wojtowicz, age 11 of Forest Lake, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on July 11, 2021. She leaves behind a heartbroken family: her parents, Jessie and Nathan; siblings, Jordan and Autumn; grandparents, Danette Kampfer, Mike Helms, Cynthia Wojtowicz; great-grandparents, Sylvia Helms, Jon and Janet Wojtowicz; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family; and friends too numerous to name. Jayla was welcomed on the other side by her grandpa, Joe Wojtowicz; great-grandparents, Donald Helms, Daniel and Janet Kampfer.

A smart, vibrant kid with an artistic streak, Jayla was forever creating and making art and Tik Tok videos, playing Roblox and FaceTiming with her friends. She was a loyal and warm-hearted friend, the kind of kid everyone wanted to be around. Most importantly, she loved her family. She was a devoted big sister and loved her dogs, Tucker and Schmoopy.

A funeral service will be 11am Tuesday, July 20 at FAITH LUTHERAN CHURCH, 886 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation will be 5-7pm Monday and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Friends are encouraged to write letters and make art to share. Wear comfy clothes in bright colors.
