Jeanene Peulen

Gone to Heaven but with us in memory, Jeanene Grey Allen Peulen, Stillwater, passed away peacefully Aug 27, 2016 at Our Lady of Peace Hospice, St Paul. She was 87 years old. Born in Meridian, Mississippi on May 23, 1929 to Ira Elmer Allen and Myrtle Elizabeth Watkins; also raised by step-father Allen LeClair, Bayport, MN. Jeanene graduated from high school and pursued additional training as a medical technician. She worked 20+ years at the Roseville Medical Clinic. She also created beautiful flower arrangements that were a blessing to many in church. Preceded in death by her husband and great love of her life, Richard James Peulen. Survived by her children, Kenneth Peulen of Plymouth, Christina Peulen of Oak Park Hts, Sherry Peulen-Deick (Marvin Deick) of New Brighton. Celebrated grandmother to Sara (Matthew) Dale, Isabel (Robert) Day. Godmother/grandmother to Mikela Peulen. Also leaves behind many beloved friends who embraced her with kindness and farewelled her to Heaven on a cushion of prayer. Memorial/celebration service 11AM Sept 15 at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, 14107 Hudson Rd S, Afton, MN 55001, with visitation one hour prior. Interment at Hazelwood Cem.
