Jerome "Duke" Petschl

August 14th, 1938 - December 31st, 2023.  Duke passed away peacefully on New Years Eve at the age of 85.    Duke is preceded in death by his parents Albert and Theresa Petschl and his beloved wife Annette.  He is survived by his five children Deborah Petschl, Warren Petschl, Timothy (Michelle) Petschl, Patrick (Kristi) Petschl and Jeffery (Alicia) Petschl; grandchildren, Jessica, Nick, Ellie, Kassandra, Matthew, Katie, Taylor, Jacob, Sarah, Paige, Eric and Isaiah; 5 great grandchildren; brothers, Albert (Mary) Petschl, Robert Petschl and sister Mary Poidinger.

Duke was born and raised in St. Paul, MN.  It is where he met his wife Annette, and they raised their family until retirement.  He served in the United States Army for 3 years.  After the military, he worked for the United States Post Office for 30 years until retiring in 1992.  After retirement they left St. Paul and moved to their lake home in Fifty Lakes, Minnesota.  He loved the lake, fishing, snowmobiling, hunting, water skiing, the peacefulness, and of course his beloved pole barn.  As much as he loved the lake, he loved nothing more than his family.   He was a true man's man; he could fix anything and would teach you as well.   Just make sure you did it his way.  His love for his family was unmatched.  He was a troublemaker, who tried to be tough, but we all know he was mush on the inside.   His laugh was contagious, and he will be missed and loved by all who knew him.

A service will be held at Bradshaw (4600 Greenhaven Drive, White Bear Lake, MN 55127) on Saturday, April 27th at 1:00 with visitation starting an hour before.
