Jerry Leonard Calhoun

Born on August 5, 1988 in Chicago Illinois to proud parents Jerry Calhoun and Shirley Ann Henderson, Jerry spent his early years in Chicago. He attended Wedal Smith Elementary before moving to Minneapolis with family. In Minneapolis, Jerry attended Ramsey and graduated from PYC.

Jerry attended his Aunt's church around the age of 18, he then accepted Christ and joined the church. Although he had a calm spirit, Phatboy was a leader and loved by many. When he worked, he was a workaholic. All he talked about was taking care of his kids, little Jerry (13), London (10) and Jazlah (6), who he loved so much.

Though Jerry didn't continue attending church after the birth of his children, he stayed in conversation about life with his Aunt and Uncle who were his spiritual advisers. He departed this life unexpectedly on September 10, 2022.

Jerry was preceded in death by his grandparents Doris Varner (Robert), mother Shirley Ann Henderson.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory and morn his passing , son lil Jerry, daughters London and Jazlah; sisters Sonya Yancey(Chris), Octavia Calhoun, brothers Tony Yancey and William Henderson Jr.; Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews and a host of cousins and friends.
