Joined her Lord, parents, brothers, husband and sons on December 3, 2013. Born May 8, 1924 to Oscar and Emmaline (Leslie) Kern, Jessie was the only daughter and sister to Oscar (Bud) and John. Jessie married her high school sweetheart, George (deceased), on April 28, 1944. They had five children Gary (deceased), Tommy (deceased), Craig of Stillwater, Becky of Cambridge and Mark of St. Paul. For many years, Jessie was employed at the Stillwater branch of Red Cross as their bookkeeper. A lifelong resident of Stillwater, she loved and devoted herself to her family, Red Cross friends and her cat Ellie. Visitation services Friday, December 6th at St. John's Lutheran Church, 5274 Stillwater Boulevard North, Stillwater from 11am to 1pm with services immediately thereafter. Burial is at Fairview Cemetery, Stillwater. A luncheon will be served after interment. Memorials in-lieu of flowers are preferred. Stillwater Red Cross, Animal Humane Society, Woodbury and St. John's Cemetery maintenance fund.
