Joan Doris (nee Herget)
Age 69, of Luck, WI, formerly of North St. Paul. Passed away peacefully on February 25, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. Preceded in death by parents, Eva and Herman "Mike".
Survived by loving husband of 50 years, Denny; sons, Craig (Julie) and Jeff (Jeanette); grandchildren, Courtney, Megan and Dalton. Joan's grandkids were her life, and meant the world to her. Also survived by brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ron and Vicki Amundson and sister-in-law, Shirley Amundson and their families; and Joan's best friend of 65 years, Karen Flamm.
Joan's love of family was the greatest gift that she gave, and received in return. She spent several years taking care of her three grandchildren during the day, and was always present in the lives of her kids and grandkids in every way.
Other favorite things included trips to Hawaii, being at the cabin, watching the birds, and tending to her flowers.
Joan's loving presence and kindness will be missed by all who knew her.
Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, 11:00A.M. at CHURCH OF ST. PETER, 2600 Margaret Street North, North St. Paul. Visitation Monday, 5-8 P.M. at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard and also one hour prior to the Mass at church.
Memorials are preferred to Our Lady of Peace Home, 2076 St. Anthony Avenue, St. Paul, MN 55104.
