Age 62 of Minneapolis

Died June 29, 2023 at home with family by her side. No more pain! Joan was a huge Prince fan from the start of his career, seeing him in concert many times. Joan was blessed with many friends, some going back 50+ years.

Joan is preceded in death by her parents, Dorman and Bonnie Crandell; sister, Jan.

She is survived by husband of 41 years, Paul; son, Derrick (Chrissy); daughter, Angela; grandchildren and loves of her life, LaDonna, Caiden; sisters, Diane (Kim), Debra (Larry); brothers, Robert (Linda), Dave (Diana); brothers-in-law, Larry, Greg (Sue); many nieces and nephews, and their children.

Celebration of Joan’s Life 5:30pm Wednesday, July 12^th at Bradshaw, 3131 Minnehaha Ave S, Minneapolis. Visitation from 4-8pm. Please wear your most colorful clothes and Prince Purple if you have it!

Special thanks to our loving and caring neighbors. Thank you to the heroes at M Health and a special thanks to Jackie at Accent Care Hospice. Also big thanks to nurse Ratched Alishia with the Brust family hospice care team. Most importantly, Paul, Angie, and Derrick want everyone to know how grateful they are for sister, Diane. She was by Joan’s side from the start of her ordeal and never left. We could have never done it without you.
