(nee Petschel) Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on February 8, 2007. Loving mother of, Colleen (Derek) Hoden, Shannon (Marc) Salmon, and Steven William; devoted grandmother of, Tyler, Brendan & Nicholas Hoden and Lauren Salmon; beloved daughter of, Raymond and Lorraine Petschel; cherished sister of, Barb Major, and Ken (Liz) Petschel. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and many other wonderful relatives and friends. Joan was a Labor & Delivery Nurse at United Hospital for over 25 years where she touched the lives of many. Mass of Christian Burial Monday, 11:30 A.M. at CHURCH OF ST PIUS X, 3878 Highland Avenue, White Bear. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation Sunday, 4:00-8:00 P.M. at BRADSHAW, 4600 Greenhaven Drive at Highway 96 (One mile west of 35E) White Bear with a Parish Vigil at 8:00 P.M. Visitation also one hour prior to the Mass at church. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.
