Joel Villarreal

With deepest sorrow, we announce the death of Joel Oscar Villarreal, age 29.
Our most beloved son, brother, family member, and friend passed suddenly on Saturday, September 4, 2021. Those who knew Joel, even just a little, lost a shining light in their life. Although only 29 at the time of his death, Joel affected many people in his lifetime. Joel's life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by him understood the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives.
He is preceded in death by great-aunt, Gloria.
Survived by grandmother, Beverly; parents, Dawn (Juan) and Joe (Maria); girlfriend, Angelique; daughter, Victoria; son on the way, Jeremiah; step-son, Joyvonne; siblings, Marcelino, Marisol A., Jesus (Marisol), Blanca, Adan, Carlos, Marisol C., Alicia, Joel C., Omar; along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many best friends - to name a few, Robert, Trevor, and Juan G.

A Celebration of Life for Joel will be held on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at Bradshaw (1078 Rice Street) at 1PM. Family and friends may visit two hours prior. Following the service, he will be laid to rest at Oakland Cemetery in St. Paul.
