age 91, Died November 22, 2013 at home of natural causes. Preceded in death by parents, George & Margaret Asmus; siblings, Mary Kugler, George Asmus, Tom Asmus, Fred Asmus, Eileen "Nene" Zuercher & Raymond Asmus (infant); brothers and sisters in law, Audrey Asmus, Bette Jean Asmus , Clare Zuercher & Al Kugler; MD. Survived by Esther, wife of 67 years, sons John (Kathy) Asmus, David Asmus, daughters Cheryl (Bob) Aguiar & Lindsey Asmus, 4 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; siblings, Margaret Asmus, Patrick Asmus, & Raymond (Betty Joan) Asmus. John was a WWII vet, he enjoyed his family, fishing, hunting and traveling.

Visitation Tuesday, November 26th from 4-7 PM at Bradshaw Celebration of Life Center 2800 Curve Crest Blvd. Stillwater, MN 55082. Mass of Catholic burial 10 AM Wednesday, November 27, at St. Patrick's Church 3535 E. 72nd St, Inver Grove Heights, MN 55076. Visitation one hour prior to the Mass at church. Internment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, with luncheon following back at the church.
