John Auger

John M Auger,74 of White Bear Lake passed away unexpectedly on Jan.07,2022.

He was preceded in death by his parents Bert and Dorothy Auger. Survived by his brother Jim Auger; sister Cindy Lindgren (Steve); nephews Mike and Eric Lindgren; and great nephew Miles Lindgren.

John was from Little Canada, graduated from Hill H.S. and then joined the Navy where he served on an aircraft carrier the USS Hancock. After attending the University of Minnesota, he went to  work for the U.S. Navy, as a civilian until his retirement. John was an avid Gopher Hockey fan. He also loved to golf, travel and canoe in the Boundary Waters. He introduced many of his friends and family to the incredible beauty of the BWCA. In recent years, John took up cruising. He traveled extensively and made many friends all over the world. He will be dearly missed by all his friends and family.

Please join us for a celebration of John's life on Thursday June 23 from Noon to 4 pm at ( KATHERINE ABBOTT PARK) 1000 Lincolntown Ave, Mahtomedi, MN. 55115 Lunch will be provided. Memorials preferred to  ( Save the Boundary Waters.)
