John Bjugan

John Otto Bjugan was born on March 25, 1925 in Goodhue County, MN the son of Otto and Ella Hegseth Thoreson Bjugan. He passed away on October 2, 2013 in Stillwater, MN at the age of 88 years. He was a WW11 Navy Veteran. Former band director he taught in Carlton, MN, Brookings, SD and 32 years in Stillwater school district 834. Preceded in death by parents, Otto & Ella Bjugan; sister, Stella; brothers-in-law, Warren & Rueben, Sr. Survived by loving wife, Gloria of 65 years; daughters, Melody (Bill) Heptig, Sandra (Gilbert) Pitts and Lorrie Bjugan; also by grandchildren, great-grandchildren; brother, Oraine (Darleen) Bjugan; many nieces and nephews. Celebration of Life Sunday, 3:00PM at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard (NW corner of Hwy 36 & Co Rd 5), Stillwater. Private interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
