Franceschin, John C.
81, of Minneapolis died Friday, November 21st at his home. Born on September 6, 1927, the son of the late Bernard and Maria Franceschin. He was preceded in death by his brother, Bruno and sisters, Rita and Ida. John was raised in Minneapolis. He graduated from St. Thomas Military Academy and was an army veteran of the Korean War. He was a life time member of the Church of St. Helena's and a member of the South Side Singers. He worked at the Venice Art Marble Company and retired from the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension. John is survived by his sister, Marion Cramp, Virginia; 8 nieces and nephews, and 16 great nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial Monday, November 24th at 10 AM at the CHURCH OF ST. HELENA, East 43rd Street and 32nd Avenue South. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-5 PM Sunday, November 23 at BRADSHAW (McDivitt-Hauge), 3131 Minnehaha Ave. So. and also one hour prior to Mass at church.
