John Groth

Groth, John P. "Jack" Age 77 Of Stillwater Passed away peacefully on October 18, 2008 at his home surrounded by family and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Alice; brother, Donald; sister, Alta "Tootie". He will be sadly and deeply missed by his wife and best friend of 47 years, Barbara; children, Phil (Monica), Carma ( Mark) Pinger, Doug (Amy), Janet (Ian) McLagan; grandchildren, Christa, Catie, Cammi, Cortney, Hunter, Abigail, Chloe, Owen, Nicholas, Alycia, Angela, Bria and Sam; sister, Phyliss; brother, Gerald; nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Jack was a 38 year employee of Andersen Window. He served in the National Guard and was a member of the American Legion. His passions and hobbies included woodworking, building and traveling in his motor home. He loved the sports of tennis, football and basketball. He was a caring husband, kind father and generous grandfather. A Celebration of Jack's Life will be held 11AM, Wednesday, October 22, 2008, with visitation on Tuesday, October 21 from 5 to 8PM and one hour prior to service at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard (NW corner of Hwy 36 & Co Rd 5), Stillwater.
