Died peacefully surrounded by his whole family on January 29, 2019, age 79. Preceded in death by brother, Robert. Survived by wife of 53 years, Cathy; children, Dennis (Maida), Tom, Julia, and Robert; grandchildren, Avery, Gavrielle, Yohann, Kayleen, Gannon, and Kian; other family and many friends. Avid sports fan (especially Packers, Brewers, and Badgers), golfer, fisherman, deer hunter, former school board member, active community member, and education advocate. Graduate of Wauwatosa East High School. 1963 graduate of UW - Madison. He enjoyed a prosperous 33-year career at 3M as a chemical engineer. Most importantly, he was a man who loved his wife, children, and grandchildren. His quick wit and sense of humor will be greatly missed. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, February 9, 11:00 A.M. at ST. MICHAEL'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 611 Third Street South, Stillwater. Visitation Friday, 4:00 - 7:00 P.M. at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard (NW corner of Hwy 36 & Cty Rd 5), Stillwater, as well as one hour prior to the Mass at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the family for charitable donation or Mass Intentions.
