John Pritschet

April 6, 1958 — July 31, 2024

Pritschet,
John Paul
Age 66, passed away peacefully July 31, 2024. Born on April 6, 1958, John lived the life he loved and was loved by all who knew him.
John was a fisherman first and foremost. His love of fishing started at a young age when he spent many hours with his father, Leo. John's passion led him to tournament fishing, working as a fishing guide, and introducing many to the joys of dropping a line.
Big John spent six years in the Navy before returning to Minnesota. He moved to West Battle Lake where he could do what he loved most, fishing and hunting whenever he could. John was handy at most trades and would help his siblings and others with almost any project. He was always generous with his heart, time, and skills. He spent many years as a contractor working at West Central Minnesota Community Action, where he was highly respected by his clients and co-workers alike.
John is survived by his siblings, R.Leo, Judith, Mary Jo, Terese, Jim, and David; 14 nieces and nephews; and several lifelong friends.
The family is having a Celebration of Life on September 22, 2024 at BRADSHAW, 4600 Greenhaven Dr., White Bear. Visitation at 11:00 AM, gathering at 11:30.
