John Sherin

John "Jack' Sherin age 85 of Stillwater passed away after a short illness. Jack was retired from Yocum Oil and a retired member of the Stillwater Fire Department. He was a member of the Stillwater Elks Lodge 179, Stillwater Legion, VFW and UCT. Jack was an usher and a longtime member of St. Michael's Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bev; son in law, Robert Chevrier; sister and brother in law, Jane and Bill Murray; nephew, Robb Murray. Survived by son, Tim; daughters, Tara Chevrier, Tracy (Todd) Guild; grandchildren, John Chevrier, Michael Guild, Elizabeth Sherin, Allison Guild also nieces and nephews. He is also survived by numerous friends including longtime friends; John Zoller and Tim Bell. Mass of Christian Burial 11:30 AM Thurs. September 29, 2011 at ST. MICHAEL'S CATHOLIC CHURCH Stillwater. Visitation 4-8 PM Wed. September 28, 2011 at the BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER (NW Corner of Hwy. 36 & Cty. Rd. 5) in Stillwater. Visitation also one hour prior to the service at the CHURCH. Interment Fairview Cemetery. Luncheon to follow at the Stillwater Eagles 94.
