John Sorlien

Age 55, of Minneapolis. Passed away unexpectedly on July 19, 2018. Preceded in death by parents, Carl and Sharon; He will be missed by those who survive him: partner, Arne Vermillion; brothers, Rick (Michele) Pechonik, Dennis (Catherine) Hart, Nicholas (Sally) Sorlien; a broad circle of family and friends, especially Sarah Bober and Michelle Bierman. A lifelong music teacher and songwriter, John had a big heart full of kindness and compassion and a great sense of humor. He was a father to many tarantulas. A celebration of John's life will be July 31, 2018, 5:30-7:30PM at the Highland Park Pavillion at 1200 Montreal Avenue South. Please dress casual and bring a story about John.
