John Sybrant

Sybrant, John W. Loving Husband Father, Grandpa Passed away peacefully on October 24, 2008 at age 70. Preceded in death by his parents Fred and Evelyn, brothers Harold, Dean & Roger and sister Yvonne. Survived by his wife of 46 years Marylyn, children Jill Larson (Dan) and Tom, and grandchildren Nick and Kate, whom he adored, siblings Donna, Dwight (Dorothy), Kermit (Annie), Robert (Bev), JoAnne (Bob), many nieces and nephews and canine pal Barley. John's passions were his family, friends, and education. He was an educator with Stillwater Area Schools, most of which was devoted to guiding the education of children as principal of Marine, Stonebridge, Afton Lakeland, and Lily Lake Elementary Schools. He thoroughly enjoyed his gardens and cheering on his grandkids at their hockey games. His smile, laugh and generosity will be truly missed. We will have a gathering of family and friends Tuesday 10/28 from 4-8 at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd (N.W. corner of Hwy 36 and Co Rd 5) Stillwater. Service will be Thursday 10/30, 12 noon at PEOPLE'S CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH, 293 N. 3rd St., Bayport. Memorials may be directed to Partnership Plan.
