John was a courier driver for almost 25 years. He loved the independence of driving around the city. He was involved in many activities at Church including being a lector, festivals, Community Builders (social activities, Knights of Columbus, and making cinnamon rolls for fellowship Sundays (more frosting please).
John's main hobby was helping his children with all their constant remodeling projects. He was the best grandcat sitter, always filling in when his kids were out of town. Loved his mother-in-law (Marion) unconditionally, took her to church and helped her whenever she needed.
A loving and generous man, always ready with a laugh. Reported to have had a twinkle in his eyes, probably from the mischievous plans he was always thinking of. Very opinionated, and always let you know what he was thinking.
