With deep sadness and faith in the promises of eternal life, we announce the passing of Joe Arndt, who was called home to the Lord on March 18th, at the age of 89. 

Joe is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Connie; four children, Joanne (Jerry) Hilpert, Diane (Jeff) Lunde, Lisa (Steve) Plourde, and David (Jennifer) Arndt; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; sister, Nancy (Ken) Opsahl and her children. His life was defined by his commitment to faith and love of his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Joe was born on August 21, 1935 and grew up in Bayport, MN. He attended Stillwater High School where he met the love of his life, Connie. Joe had a career at Andersen Windows, where he worked for 38 years in Sales and Marketing.

Joe was a devout Catholic whose faith was an important part of his life. He was a dedicated member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Stillwater, MN, where he found great joy and purpose in serving the church community.

He lived most of his life in Stillwater, but his heart was always drawn to his favorite places-the family cabin and their Naples, FL home. His vision for these homes was to create large spaces where his family could come together for fun, bonding, and creating lifelong memories.

A Funeral Mass to celebrate Joe's life will be held at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Stillwater on April 5, 2025 at 11am. Visitation will be held prior to the mass from 10am-11am. Burial will be at St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery in Bayport, MN. following mass.

The family requests donations be made to the Emily Program Foundation or to the American Heart Association
