Brennan, Joseph Leo
Age 83 passed away on May 1. He grew up in the Irish community of Kilkenny, MN until his high school years, which he moved to Minneapolis. He graduated from Marshall High School followed by service and honorable discharge from the Army. He worked throughout his life in numerous positions. Joe enjoyed life from fishing, photography, travel, cross country skiing, square dancing and more. He spent his last years in Rogers where he had many valued friends who as he put it..."watched out for each other." Joe was a quiet man whose kind acts and good humor spoke louder than his words. He was preceded in death by his parents Agnes and Leo; siblings Leone, Robert and Richard, and his long time companion Christine (Chris). Joe is remembered fondly by nieces, nephews, friends and families who he touched with the twinkle in his eyes, patient ear and gentle spirit. He will be missed. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, May 14, 11:00 A.M. at MARY QUEEN OF PEACE CATHOLIC CHURCH - ST. MARTIN CAMPUS, 21304 Church Avenue, Rogers, MN followed by a graveside service at 3:30 P.M. in Kilkenny, MN. Memorials preferred.
