Joseph Morley Allenspach (age 38) of Oak Park Heights passed away unexpectedly in his home on May 2, 2021. Joe was a small business owner, an avid bow hunter, highly intellectual, and a fierce protector of his children, whom he loved more than anything. He was wonderfully compassionate, exceptionally intelligent and a uniquely conscientious person who spent his life serving others in every way he could. He was frequently acknowledged as an “old soul” by those around him. He was a greatly loved father, husband, brother, son, and friend.
He was preceded in death by grandfather, Joseph; grandmother, Ella; grandmother, Dolores; and grandfather, Jerome.
Joe was survived by his wife, Nicole Allenspach; daughters, Ella and Ava; son, Joseph; mother, Virginia; father, David; brother, Tim; and sister, Jessica.
A celebration of his life will take place at Woodbury Lutheran Church, Oak Hill Campus, 9050 60th Street North, Stillwater on Monday, May 17 at 12pm with Visitation from 10-12pm.
In lieu of flowers, we hope that you will do an unexpected and unsolicited act of kindness in Joe’s honor.
All are welcome to join the family for a luncheon after the service at Lakeside Park at 95 Central Avenue in Bayport to share our favorite memories, stories, to laugh, to cry, and remember a wonderful man who is greatly missed.
