Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on May 27, 2017. Preceded in death by wife, Ruby Lucille; siblings, Noah, Mike and Mary. Survived by daughters, Nancy (Gerry), Kathy, Becky (Timmy), and Gina (John); grandchildren, Sara, Lizbeth, Becca, Jess, Ann-Marie, Josh and Angie; great-grandson, Henry; and many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. Joe was a US Postal Service retiree and a proud member of the Civilian Conservation Corp. He spent many years volunteering in nursing homes with The Sanchelli Brothers and Friends. He grew up in the Historic Swede Hollow neighborhood and was a lifetime storyteller and ambassador of the area. Joe was passionate about music and was known for his harmonica playing. He loved good food, cheap red wine, his family and his Italian heritage. Memorial Service will be Friday, June 2nd at 11:30AM at THE CHURCH OF ST PIUS X, 3878 Highland Ave., White Bear Lake, MN 55110. Visitation Thursday, June 1st from 4-8PM at BRADSHAW, 4600 Greenhaven Drive at Hwy 96, White Bear and one hour prior to the service at Church.
