Age 78 of Mpls. Went to his heavely home on July 9, 2011. Preceded in death by parents, Bessie and Paul; brothers, Richard and Rudy; sisters, Angie, Julia and Cecelia. Survived by siblings, Connie (Harvey) Suronen, Tom (Sandy) Reyes, Gloria (Ray) Sotelo; son, John; daughter, Julie; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; loving companion of 39 years, Marilyn Johnson; nieces, Connie (Mike) Austin-Gilles and Tina Austin; great nephew, William Austin; and many other nieces, nephews, family members and friends. He celebrated 35 years of sobriety with members at 2218 1st Ave. S., Mpls. Service Thursday, 11 AM at BRADSHAW (McDivitt-Hauge), 3131 Minnehaha Ave. S. Interment Gethsemane Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday, 4-8 PM at BRADSHAW, and also 1 hour prior to the service. Memorials preferred. Special thanks to HCMC, SICU 7th Floor for the care you gave Joseph. "Joe, you are loved and you will be in our hearts forever."
