Nelson, Joy Stanley, age 76, on June 29, 2003. Avid gardener, and CNW Railroad Retiree. Preceded in death by parents, Jens and Borghild; son, LCpl Vernon Lee; brother, Kermit; faithful dog, Lutefisk. Survived by wife LaVerne; children, keith, Ron (Bonne), Cheryl (Loren) Davis, Adriana (Simone) Simoncici; grandchildren, Ron D. (Kari), and Nikki (Andy) DeMar; great-grandchildren, Josie and Jessie; brothers, Norval (Helen), and Walter (Maxine); sister, Eleanor (Orville) Wittmer. Also survived by other relatives and friends. A long time member of Ancient Landmark No. 5 AF&AM. A lifetime of I.B.E.W. A Celebration Of Life Thursday 11:00 AM at NEW LIFE CHURCH OF WOODBURY, 6758 Bailey Road, Woodbury.
