Memorial service for Joyce A. Moody, age 79, of Stillwater, will be Saturday, 11:00 A.M. at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard (NW corner of Hwy 36 & Co Rd 5), Stillwater. Visitation one hour prior to the service. Memorials are preferred.
Joyce died peacefully surrounded by loved ones on December 28, 2009. She was born December 30, 1929 to Slyvester and Jordice DuRocher. A lifelong resident of Stillwater, Joyce was a graduate of Stillwater High School. She married Douglas Moody on January 20, 1951. Joyce will be remembered for her love of animals.
Preceded in death by husband, Doug. Survived by daughter, Yvonne; granddaughter, Shelly (Bubba) Aguirre; great-grandson, Alex; sister, Frances (Gerald) Dornfeld; brother, Frank (Kathie) DuRocher; sisters-in-law, Marilyn Schmoeckel and Jesse Moody; brother-in-law, John Moody; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
