Joyce Schoettly

Joyce Elizabeth Schoettly (Bostrom)

Age 72, of St. Paul, Minnesota, passed away on January 17, 2025.

Joyce was born February 11, 1952 to Ralph and Georgia Bostrom of St. Paul. She attended undergrad at the University of Minnesota obtaining a Bachelor of Science. She then went on to complete her GD at the University of Denver, and then made her career as a Patent and Trademark attorney in Chicago.

She was a world traveler; an accomplished musician, playing the violin, cello, and obo just to name a few; and a music teacher. Joyce took an interest in everything and everyone and never stopped learning. She was spirited and and a fierce fighter in every battle she took on, including her illness, dying peacefully listening to Bach Cello Suites. She was greatly loved and will be dearly missed.
