Judith Diane Goldstrand

GOLDSTRAND Judith “Judy” Diane (nee Powell), age 85 of Stillwater, passed away on February 26, 2024. Born in Cadillac, Michigan, later moved to Minnesota to attend Bethel College. Preceded in death by parents, Alton and Esther, brother Robert, and son-in-law Wade Wiken. Survived by husband of 61 years, Bruce; daughters Shelly (Kurt Blanchett), Jodi Wiken and Dana (Steve) Hupert; grandchildren Ryan (Nicole), Alexander, Colin, Eric and Nathan; great-granddaughter Evelyn; siblings Richard, Nancy McKinley, John, Linda and Dennis; nieces, nephews, extended family and many dear friends. 

Judy was generous and caring, which was evident in her hospitality, life-long volunteering for numerous organizations, and whole-hearted embrace of being Grandma. She loved being on the go – biking, hiking, skiing, swimming, walking with friends and traveling the world. Judy especially enjoyed traveling with Bruce and spending time with family on the ski slopes and the North Shore. She joked that she always had her suitcase packed, ready for her next adventure, but she also enjoyed starting her days quietly with coffee and her Bible study or a good book. 

Judy’s family is extremely grateful for the love and support she received from family, friends and caregivers throughout her life, especially during her dementia journey. She was ready to enjoy eternity with her Savior Jesus Christ. 

Celebration of Life: Friday, March 8th at 11am at Bradshaw Funeral Home, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd, Stillwater. Visitation at 10am. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Solid Ground, Courage Kenny or Young Life Stillwater, places Judy volunteered for years.
