Karna Kay Schafer

Of Stillwater

Born June 13, 1967

Passed away at home on January 24, 2021 after a courageous battle with ALS.

Preceded in death by parents, Rod and Lou Marschke and brother, Scott.

Karna was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. Karna gave so generously  of herself and never met a stranger who didn’t become a friend. Karna was small in stature but huge in heart. There are not enough words to describe such a beautiful Lady. But I will try and invite you to add to the list. Karna was witty, sassy, warm, kind and lived her life as an example of how to be.

Survived by husband, Kjell; sons, Adam Marschke, Holden Quinn, Tate Schafer; siblings, Lisabeth Carlson, Jon Marschke, Jill Huot; many nephews, nieces, and too many friends to count. Karna found great value in family and friends.

There will be an open house to celebrate her life on her birthday, June 13, 2021 from 1:00PM-5:00PM at our home:
