After seven years of longing, she is finally reunited with her husband of 48 years, Richard. Preceded in death by parents, Louis and Anna Mateyka; brothers, Joseph and Francis; sister, Margaret and her beloved husband, Dick. She is survived by her sister, Patricia (Wil) Krieg; her nieces and nephews and her grateful children, Karen (Howard) Cronin, Fr. Michael Anderson, Mary Beth Redmond and Jim (Jean) Anderson; her grandchildren; the Andersons, Ben, Alex and Emily; the Cronins, Mae, Joe, Rose and John and the Redmonds, Charlie, Katie, Claire, Theresa Rose and Anne and her great-granddaughter, Olivia Rose. We are grateful for the friends whom she loved and who loved her, especially Jean & Leroy Lenz, Pat and Bill Gardner, Margaret & Tom Thornton and the scores of Jesuits she joyfully cared for, prayed for and mothered in her 25 years of service to the Wisconsin Province Novitiate. Visitation Wednesday 3 - 6 p.m. with Mass of Christian Burial at 6 pm; all at the CHURCH OF SAINT BERNARD, 197 W. Geranium, St. Paul. Interment Thursday 2 p.m. at Resurrection Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Saint Bernards.
