Kathryn Jenkins

Kathryn Jenkins (Chapel), age 64, died suddenly on November 1, 2019, surrounded by her family.

Kathy was born June 1, 1955, in Orange, California, but spent her childhood in Somerset, WI, and graduated from high school in New Richmond, WI. After high school, she eventually moved   to Stillwater, MN, where she married Kim Jenkins in 1983. They welcomed daughters Koren (Wood) and Kelly (Garner). Kathy was a stay-at-home mom through her children's school years. She loved caring for her daughters and was devoted to them. Later she became equally devoted to her grandchildren, Faith and Ryley Wood and Johnathan Garner. Kathy was a generous, compassionate person with a great sense of humor and a wicked giggle! She loved cooking, laughing, and caring for her loved ones. She was a devoted aunt to her many nieces and nephews, and will be deeply missed.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Gladys Chapel.

She is survived by daughters Koren Wood and Kelly Garner; grandchildren Faith Wood, Ryley Wood and Johnathan Garner; as well as her siblings Ron (Cindy) Chapel, Susan DiBenedetto, Georgia (Duane) Eggen, Frank Chapel and Floyd Chapel Jr.

A memorial will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank the staff at Bradshaw Funeral Home for their excellent care. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the family.
