Died July 24, 2012 surrounded by her family, after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Preceded in death by her parents, James and Lillian; and brothers, James and Peter. Survived by sisters-in-law, Audrey Radke and Connie Thueson; nieces, Cheryl, Linda and Sheryl (Kevin Daas); nephews, Steven, Andrew, Greg (Cindy), Peter and Matthew; and her beloved great-niece, Hanna. Kathryn retired from the State of Minnesota where she worked for 30 years. Kathryn spent most of her retirement pursuing the genealogy of her family. She became an expert in this pursuit and volunteered at the Stillwater Library assisting others. She had many friends at the library and continued to visit and do what she was able for anyone seeking her assistance. Kathryn also enjoyed and was an expert at making greeting cards and scrapbooking. Kathryn was very interested in the history of Stillwater where she lived her entire life. Auntie Kay will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her. A celebration of Kathryn's life will be Sunday, August 5, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard (NW corner of Hwy 36 & Co Rd 5), Stillwater. Family will receive friends following the service. Memorials preferred to The Stillwater Public Library.
