Kay Dawnette Palm
Kay Dawnette Palm left this world for her next adventure on Aug 26. She spent her 78 years making the most of each day and connecting with everyone she met. She will always be remembered for enthusiastically embracing every activity, whether it was sailing the open oceans, camping in the boundary waters, kayaking among alligators into her late 70’s, or parachuting out of airplanes with her grandchildren, but she was always a mother first. She treasured her children Darcy Stivland (Michael Rumpza), Timothy Stivland, Todd Stivland (Sarah), her stepchildren Steve Palm (Martha), Renee Thompson (Dean), her grandchildren Daniel, Katie-Rose, Benjamin, Ahjay, Amani, Allison, Matthew, Joshua, Inge-Marie, Brennan, and Coltan. Kay will be missed and long remembered by her children, grandchildren, siblings Pam, Jodi (Wayne) and Rick, and the many people she loved and treated as family. Although she desperately wanted to stay with us in this world, we know that her energy will continue. May she go with love and peace.
