Age 94
Lifelong resident of Washington County and WWII veteran, passed away on December 10, 2016 in the presence of his loving family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Alfreda Anderson; daughter, Lola Anderson; grandson, Derek Anderson; brother, LeRoy Anderson. He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Betty; children, Linda (Jerry) Pagel, Steve (Maija) Anderson; grandchildren, Bradley Anderson, Matthew (Victoria) Pagel, Justin Pagel, Zachary (Svitlana) Pagel, Karl (Molly) Pagel; three great-grandchildren; sister, JoAnne Segelstrom. Kenneth was born and raised in Marine on St. Croix, and later settled in Bayport. He was a 70-year member of Bayport American Legion Hesley Jensen Post 491, and his career at Andersen Windows spanned 33 years. He had an exemplary work ethic, was a planner and organizer, and in his retirement, was an avid golfer. A private family memorial service took place on Thursday, December 15 at Boutwells Landing Swanson Chapel. Memorials to the American Diabetes Association preferred.
