Survived by his wife, Iva Lou and his four children, Sue and Steve Schmidt, Jerome and special friend, Kayla, Mary Ann and Jeff Eide, James and Margie Jones; 5 grandchildren; sisters, Clara (Roger) Germandson and Ardith Ritzschke and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was a City Boy on the Farm and a Farm Boy in the City. The family extends a special thank you to friends, neighbors and the Fairview Hospice Staff for their support. Service Monday, 11:00 A.M. at BRADSHAW (McDivitt-Hauge), 3131 Minnehaha Avenue South. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation Sunday (TODAY) 4:00-7:00 P.M. and also one hour prior to the service.
