Kenneth John "Chief" Katzenmaier
Age 77, passed away on December 23rd 2018.
Preceded in death by parents, William and Mildred; and brother, Jerry. Survived by high school sweetheart and wife of 57 years, Doris; children, Lynn (Greg) Frantzen, Gregg (Tania), and Susan (Mark) Trevathan; grandchildren Damon (Kathy) Nelton, Ashley Frantzen, Matthew (Yesenia) Frantzen, James Trevathan, Jonathan Trevathan, and Elizabeth Trevathan; great grandchildren Devon Nelton, Gabrielle Nelton, and Kenneth Nelton, and a host of other friends and relatives. A lifetime Rice Streeter, Ken was born in St. Paul in 1941, graduated from Washington High in 1959 and owned an East Side business for over 30 years. Ken loved his work, boating on the St. Croix River, BBQs at the family pool, beach vacations, dancing, music, ice cream and most of all his family and friends.
