Passed away peacefully March 11, 2008 after a 10 year courageous battle with Multiple Myeloma. Preceded in death by parents, Russell and Helen. He leaves behind so many that loved him, including, his wife of 34 1/2 years, Sue; children, Kelly (Dan) Ralston, Benjamin (Julie), Lisa; grandchildren, his special ?little buddies?, Jacob and Jack Ralston; loving siblings, Sally (Terry) Zoller, Rick (Sherry), Mary (Chuck) Bischoff; caring father-in-law, Omar Sperling; several nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Ken was a graduate of the U of M Institute of Technology and a member of The American Society of Civil Engineers. He was employed as a civil engineer working in both the private and public sector where he retired from MnDOT. Ken was an athlete, and was involved in playing softball, basketball and golf, and was an avid musky fisherman. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Friday, March 14, 2008 with visitation 1 hour prior to service at ST MARY?S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 423 S. 5th St. Stillwater. Visitation 4-8PM Thursday, March 13, 2008 at Bradshaw Celebration of Life (NW corner of Hwy 36 & Co. Rd. 5), Stillwater. Interment St Michael?s Cemetery, Bayport. In lieu of flowers, memorials welcomed to the Kenneth R. Meister Civil Engineering Scholorship Fund or the American Cancer Society.
